Care & Usage Notes

To achieve the best performance, follow these steps:

  • Pre-burn new rods 2–3 times at 1600°C for 2 hours. This step forms the protective silica layer.

  • Do not mix old and new rods. Consistent current levels ensure balanced heating.

  • If rods turn yellow or show surface flakes, repeat the pre-burn process.

  • To clean a contaminated furnace, run an empty cycle with crushed white zirconia.

  • Always check wiring before heating.
